Pole Compatibility Database

Welcome to the pole compatibility database! Here, you can see which trekking poles are most compatible with CleanTrek. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you watch our pole compatibility guide video!

Each trekking pole is given a rating:

1. Excellent - Works perfectly.
2. Good - Works well, but there may be one or two annoyances as compared to an Excellent pole.
3. It’s complicated - It may work fine, but that depends on your preferences and your setup. Review the notes within the database to see if it'll fit your needs.
4. Bad - Doesn’t work...although it’s possible that we just need to design a new threaded insert to make the Grabber fit, so it’s not necessarily hopeless forever :)

This database is in the early stages, and I will keep adding to it between now and the product launch!

If you're looking to buy poles, your best bet is anything with an "Excellent" rating.

If you're wondering whether the poles you already own are compatible with CleanTrek, you can search for your poles using the search bar below.

If you can't find what you're looking for, or if you find an issue with the database, we are working on a feature where you can request changes and additions to this database! The goal is to make this a community-driven database. Stay tuned for more!

General Notes:
- Of the name-brand poles I've tested, Leki is the most broadly compatible, followed by REI.
- Some of you have asked if Komperdell poles are compatible, since they use nubs rather than basket threads. The answer: not yet, but I'm working on it and think I have a solution :)
