Welcome to CleanTrek’s newsletter! You’re receiving this email because you filled out the Interest List and indicated that you’d like to receive email updates from CleanTrek.

Since the website launch on May 3rd, CleanTrek has gained overwhelming support! We hit our goal of 100 Interest List signups within the month of May and have received tons of positive and useful feedback. I’m setting a new goal of 200 signups, so please continue sharing with friends and family!

Here are CleanTrek’s latest updates:

  1. Some of you have suggested that the Collector is either too big or too small. To address these concerns, I’m developing a new Collector prototype that’s collapsible! This way, it’s smaller when not in use but bigger when you’re ready to load in trash. I can’t disclose more than that for now, since I’m working on submitting a provisional patent application for the concept first. Stay tuned for a big reveal in the next 2 weeks or so!

  2. I’m working on prototype improvements (making them more durable, sourcing better hardware, etc.) in preparation for the next stage: building ~10 sets of prototypes so I can put these into the hands of some early adopters! If this first batch is well-received, I’ll be looking to launch a Kickstarter campaign in the near future with prototypes as prizes!

  3. I’ve received $1,770 in donations so far (thank you everyone!) but am still $230 shy of my 1st fundraiser goal. If you’re willing and able, please consider donating to the cause! These next donations will help me cover the costs of the prototyping I described above.

Please continue helping me spread the word! I’ll be posting new video content on social media once the new prototypes are finished, but word of mouth can really go a long way too!
